Microsoft’s latest promotion will be extremely pleasing for Taco Bell loving gamers. Microsoft is teaming up with the fast food joint to give away limited edition Taco Bell-themed Xbox One X consoles that will make the Taco Bell “ring” sound when powering them on.
It began on October 18th. For every $5 double chalupa box that you buy from Taco Bell, you will get a code that can be used to enter for an opportunity to win one of the customized gaming machines. Every 10 minutes between October 18 and November 22 Microsoft and Taco Bell will give away one of the consoles.
Every person is allowed 32 chances to submit a code to see if they are a winner. The $5 double chalupa box has an entry code on the side of the box. Text the unique code to the number provided to find out instantly.
In addition to making the “bong” sound from Taco Bell commercials, the console will also sport an exclusive gradient theme exclusive to the promotion. (Sony once offered a similarly limited gold-skinned PS4 that was also part of a Taco Bell giveaway.) It also comes bundled with an Xbox Elite controller, three months of Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold. Xbox One X bundles usually retail for more than $500, so it’s worth $5 and a delicious meal from Taco Bell.
